Participation of JSC “Fund of Problem Loans” in the ADB & KAMCO International Seminar

As part of strengthening regional cooperation in the field of distressed asset management and implementing the initiatives of the International Public Asset Management Companies Forum (IPAF), JSC “Fund of Problem Loans”will participate in the hybrid seminar organized by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) titled “Creating an Online Platform for Trading Non-Performing Loans (NPL): From Concept to Pilot Project.”

The event will take place on November 20–21, 2025 in Hanoi, Vietnam at the headquarters of the Vietnam Asset Management Corporation (VAMC). The session will begin at 07:00 Almaty time (UTC+7 – Hanoi time).

The seminar will bring together representatives of state-owned asset management companies from China, the Republic of Korea, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, and observers from Mongolia and Ukraine.

The participation of the Fund will be organized online jointly with the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market.

Participants will discuss the architecture and governance model of the future cross-border platform, disclosure standards, legal, regulatory and tax aspects, IT infrastructure requirements, and opportunities for applying artificial intelligence in asset evaluation.

Participation in the seminar will allow the Fund to familiarize itself with advanced regional practices in the digitalization of distressed asset markets, present Kazakhstan’s experience in selling assets through electronic platforms, and contribute to the development of cooperation under IPAF and ADB.
