Fund history
ABOUT US
The Fund was created and registered with the justice authorities on January 11, 2012 to assist banks in the process of "clean-up" their balance sheets from "non-performing" loans as part of the Post-Crisis Recovery Program. The sole shareholder of the Fund is the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan represented by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
MISSION

STRATEGIC DIRECTIONS
• recovery of the banking sector;
• involvement of repurchased assets in economic
circulation.
ACTIVITIES
• buyback of non-performing assets of banks and legal entities that were previously banks;
• management of repurchased assets;
• involvement of repurchased assets in economic circulation through their recovery and sale;
• acting as an attorney (agent) within the framework of stateguaranteed loans and state loans;
• The sale of property pledged by the taxpayer and/or a third party, as well as property restricted in disposal by the taxpayer, and goods seized by the state revenue authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.;
• implementation of special programs adopted by the government or by decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan aimed at ensuring the stability of the financial system and
improving the national economy.
